Have a high appreciation for sarcastic wit. 80's metal always puts me in a good mood. Believe the F-word should be socially acceptable as common grammar. Love the word 'Dude'.

It's over.

This relationship with MSN Spaces and myself? Done. Cooked. Finito.

This is the last Draft in my blog summary. I'm typing over whatever thoughts were here, I'm publishing it and this will be my last post.

I spent last night packing up my MSN boxes and moving them over to a new place. Called Blogger. The same Blogger that a handful of Spacers have already inhabited.

I have unpacked, arranged a few things and posted up some words.

I hope you all come by to visit. And no, gifts aren't necessary.

See you all there :)

WHY

10/31/07: Happy Halloween!
As I mentioned a few entries ago, I'm currently having problems with Spaces...it's not letting me post new entries - so this is on it's way to becoming a wicked long one.

On this Halloween night I have a question to pose to the masses: we have had our fair share of trick o' treaters tonight, I've done my part to sugar up my part of the world and saw some cute costumes along the way. Our last visitors were two boys about 9-ish and their dad, who was wearing a monster mask and had draped himself on our porch stairs in a funny manner to beg for 'life sustaining candy' when I opened the door. His boys were giggling and I dropped a ton of chocolate in each of their bags. As we (my friend who is staying with us was manning the door with me) chatted briefly with their dad he asked if the boys could use the restroom, being sure to tell us (two women) that he would stay outside. My friend deferred the question to me and I sort of said 'sure', and the boys went in one by one led by my friend each time while I stayed at the front door chatting with the guy. The Man was in the living room. So I bid the trio goodnight and turn all the lights off to signal 'No more candy' and go to the living room. The Man questions my decision to let them use the john under the basis of anything could have happened. What if the guy stormed our house...what if the boys were in on it...what if someone pulled a gun. He has good reason to question me, I can pull out a pretty paranoid card when you think of the crap that goes on in the world today. But at the moment I felt fine letting the boys in one by one...if I was home alone? Different story.

So, masses, what do you think?

Some thoughts on baseball before bidding farewell to the season:

- Arod is screwing over the flailing Yankees by opting out. I'll say this once - I do not want that punk on my team...!!! Yes, I know, he's all-powerful. Good for him. Take it somewhere else. I believe I speak for 80% of Red Sox Nation.

- Speaking of the Yankees it will be fun to watch them implode next year: new manager, new ownership, loss of Arod - and whoever else is jumping ship. For the way they treated Joe Torre I hope to watch them miss the playoffs entirely next season. There's a new boss team in town- and it ain't you.

- I'm happy to get back to a regular sleeping pattern beginning tonight. There were way too many games stretching past midnight during this post-season, and while I wouldn't give it up for anything it does make a girl tired. Especially when she's averaging five/six beers a game. NJaney needs her beauty sleep.

- As the Man and I are blinking our eyes and fighting to stay awake for the post-game stuff last night we were both disgusted watching the rowdy college brats tip over a car and scare the police horses during their 'celebration'. Let's be honest here - are you even a fan? Or is it coincidence that you're going to college in a city that just won a championship and even though you're from another state entirely you're taking your drunk nonsense to the street just because you can? It's nothing new to watch people get out of hand after a big win, but it's getting old. Knock it off, or go back to the place you came from. We're not looking for a repeat of the 2004 tragedy.

- Thank You Red Sox for a kick-ass season!! You boys rock with your down-to-earth attitudes, bullpen drum-rally, fantastic play and team attitude. Looking forward to 2008!!

It's a happy world...

...I'm just living in it.

My RED SOX took Game 6 last night in an exciting thrashing of the Indians...12-2. What does that mean? Game 7 baby. This won is for all the marbles, tonight 8PM. My superstitions are in full play and I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!!

My PATS are minutes away from beginning their 7th game this season...against the 0-6 Dolphins. Is there much of a game here? Um, no. So we'll watch to see just how big our dance can get.

My most favorite-test of favorite horror movie franchises returns on Friday with the 4th installment of the gory Saw...! I LOVE me some Saw, so that's our Friday night plan...

...and I hope my friend likes horror! My girl J from DC is making the move to Boston with her boyfriend N. They have a SWEET apartment waiting for them on Comm Ave just by Copley Sq., but that won't be ready until Nov, so J - who started her job last week - will be bunking in with the Man and I for the next two weeks. She arrives Monday, and while having guests isn't always fabulous she will be low-maintenance and it will be nice to share some wine and girl talk together. (and I believe she will not be in attendance for Saw....).

My co-worker (of the most ridiculous bachlorette party bitchfest) is getting married on Saturday, she's stressed and excited. We're having a surprise brunch at work for her on Thursday (calling it a Halloween lunch...whether she believes it or not), so that will be fun. Saturday night the Man and I will doll up and I'll dance the night away with some cool co-workers and one beautiful bride.

Speaking of Halloween...I make my Costco trip next Monday to stock up on treats for the kiddies. As we're in a condo complex we get a lot of 'I'll just park over here you kids go door to door' treaters. It makes for an interesting night watching the range of tiny babes with proud parents through cocky almost-teens wearing facepaint for costumes. I can remember how fun it was to knock on doors and yell TRICK OR TREAT so I make sure our light is on, the spooky skeleton is hanging on the front door and my dish is full with the 'cool' candy.

...and the one sour note? I'm having Spaces issues. I can't post 'new' entries for some reason. This one (and the last one) were drafted entries that I wrote over and published. But I only have a few drafts left. I emailed in and have a super-long email with a gajillion things to do to my computer to fix this issue. I also lost my What's New button which means I can't see email messages. So a big BOO to Spaces today.

GO PATS!!!

GO SOX!!!

NJaney...OUT!

October 18

Dear Ellen DeGeneres,

Enough with the fucking dog.

Sincerely,

NJaney

(P.S. - I am a fan of yours...but you're losing BIG points with me this week...)
October 14

It's in the books

Win number six for my undefeated Pats!! The game is winding down, currently we're at 41 points, we have a chance to add to that. Dallas is on the board with 27; they did make the game interesting in the 3rd...but we turned it up and ran away with it.

Next week: Miami. Miami's record? Um, 0-6. So yeah, real nail-bitah coming up.

Yo yo! We just scored again...SWEET!!!

There are two QB's in the NFL that I have soft spots for...Eli Manning, and our opponent tonight - Tony Romo. Romo had such a heartbreaking end in the playoffs last year...and some people got down on him - but he's been such a firecracker this year and I find myself rooting for him. And Mr. Eli...playing in the shadow of his big bro. I root for Eli because I really REALLY want him to kick ass and take names.

The rest of the league? They can kiss my shorts ;)

Now if you'll excuse me I need to adjust my sports antenna back to the Sox for tomorrow night's Game 3 vs. Cleveland...

GO SOX!!!

GO PATS!!!
